Abstract

For the development of different types of hybrids of Salvia sclarea L., hybridization was used. As a result of hybridization, hybrid seeds were obtained in 26 types of hybridization: 12 – simple, 3 – triple, 1 – double, 4 – stepped and 6 – complex. It was demonstrated that very valuable F1 hybrids were created due to the high content of essential oil, which in the first year of vegetation constituted 0.732-1.906% and 0.836-2.286% in the second year. 9 high-performing hybrids were highlighted, including: 3 – simple, 1 – double, 1 – stepped, 4 – complex, with a very high content of essential oil (1.499-2.286%)
