Abstract

That the educational influences in the school to have an essentially positive effect in the development of each pupil's potential, a good knowledge of the neurophysiological basis of cognitive and behavioral psychological processes determined by the specificity of the mechanisms of excitation and inhibition is necesary. În the paper are presented the results of the inhibition manifestation in the cognitive and behavioral activities of adolescents depending on temperamental type. The research was carried out in a group of 53 adolescents. The temperamental traits, levels of cognitive and behavioral inhibition were established. The indicators were recorded at the pre-experimental stage and after applying an Educational Program adapted to the temperamenal type. As a result of the researches it was established  that the application of the formative Program adapted to the temperamental type positively influenced the cognitive and emotional behavior of the children and demonstrates that the inhibition process is manifested according to temperament type but there is a low correlation between cognitive and behavioral indicators.
