Abstract

In this paper, the solution of the problem of the number π has been described. A definition of this number was formulated according to the model of the definition of the number e, mathematically well understood. Then this number was based on the definition of the length of the circle and of the arcs of the circle, and as well as on the definition of trigonometric functions of real variable.
