Abstract

Based on lasting researches realized in the populations from various habitats of the Republic of
Moldova and the Romania, have been evaluated the parasite - host relationships to the ecaudate amphibians of the Rana kl. esculenta complex (formed of species Rana Ridibunda x, R. lessonae x, R. esculenta). Ecaudate amphibians are the hosts of a wide spectrum of helminthes, and their parasitic fauna is part of the aquatic ecosystems. It has been established that the investigated amphibian species are infested with trematodes (10 species) and nematodes (4 species) worms; their degree of infestation varying according to the habitats specificity and the structure of the amphibians populations, but also the degree of anthropization of the natural ecosystems.
