Abstract

During the years 2013-2015 were collected and studied samples of molluscs from the river Bîc. 15 species of molluscs have been highlighted belonging to two classes Bivalvia and Gastropoda, classified in three orders, 8 families and 14 genera. Malacology diversity of the river Bîc requires division into two sectors: upstream of Chisinau where 15 species were determined and downstream of Chisinau – has not been collected any  species. It was studied the correlation between the content of nitrite nitrogen in the river and the number of species of molluscs collected. The quality of the river water, in general, is characterized by a high degree of pollution.
