Abstract
This article represents the calculation methodology of bioclimatic discomfort index Thom. For the regional aspects it were used the dates of temperature and relative humidity recorded at the 14 meteorological stations located in Republic of Moldova, from the canicular day 7th August, 2012. The highest discomfort Thom index was registered at the Fălești meteorological station (DI 31,7°C), were also was observed the highest temperature during the survey period (+42,4°C).
