Reproduction strategies of yhe caudate amphibians in the ecosystems of the ”Codrii” reservation

Abstract

In this publication are presented the results of field investigations carried out in the "Codrii" Reservation and in laboratory conditions, which refers to the aspects of the reproduction strategies of the amphibians. Based on the obtained data, the stages of female courtship by males were identified and described, it was established that depending on the level of morpho functional organization and the specific conditions of life, of the amphibians, during the evolution, certain strategies appeared and consolidated a breeding strategy that assures them to achieve an expected reproductive success.
