Abstract
The implementation of the competence approach in education has determined the emphasis on pedagogy of integration concept. From this perspective, the process of competence formation to students takes place in three stages: the basic learning, integration and transfer. The article provides an analysis of these stages and also of the expected student’s appropriate performances. It also underlines the teacher’s role in the process of acquiring competences by students and in the process of transition from the competences prescribed in curricula to the real ones.
