Abstract
The article reveals aspects of continuity between levels of education in terms of the tasks being addressed, the integration of content, and the choice of effective teaching methods. The described stages of the continuity process aim at a system of actions from various participants in the educational process to solve problems arising in this process. The article emphasizes primary school as an object of preceding and subsequent adaptation stages, focusing on the organization of the process for the successful adaptation of first-graders and fifth-graders.
