Abstract
The National Curriculum is the architecture of meaning and organization of school education. It defines, organizes the educational offer and guides the design, implementation, and evaluation of learning. In the current Romanian legal framework, the curriculum appears at the student's decision from the school's offer, namely an offer through which the student chooses according to his or her own needs and interests. The change in terminological emphasis is visible from the school's decision to the student's decision. This move emphasizes not only the autonomy of the school institution, but also the student's right to participate in configuring his or her own learning path, including the offer with possibilities for curricular customization for teachers.
