Abstract

This paper presents the results of research on the conceptual and methodological framework of non-formal education for children in the Republic of Moldova. One of the main objectives is to clarify the conceptual aspects of the institutionalisation of non-formal education and to develop a pedagogical model for its institutionalisation within a European context.

The article argues in favour of neo-institutionalism as the central theoretical foundation, highlighting the need for a flexible, adaptive, participatory and accessible (FAPA) framework. At the same time, it presents a model for the institutionalisation of non-formal education for children, adapted to the realities of the Republic of Moldova and aligned with European trends in the field.
