Abstract
At present, in our country the number of investigations carried out to study people with visual
disabilities is in continual grows. This subject is always of interest in scientific research, as these
individuals represent a segment of population with a clearly disadvantaged position than other people.
Based on developing a vision deficit, people with amblyopia develops character emphasis, which has an
impact on emotional intelligence. People with such problems encounter difficulties in daily life and are
faced to have a lower quality of life. The research investigation presents a comparative study of emotional
intelligence and quality of life as well as determins the relation between these variables in people with
amblyopia and blind.
