Abstract
This article deals with the epistemological considerations on personal security, with approaches
from psychology and political science, and also points out aspects of philosophy and culturology. At the
intersection of the field of personal security with that of the education sciences, a new epistemic object is
delineated - education for personal security. Characteristic specifications are highlighted, the place of
education for personal security is elucidated in the notion field of the generic "security" category, the
logical ratios of the new concept are elucidated with other contextual terms
