Abstract
The article addresses the issue of ethics in the organizational environment. After a clear discourse between ethics and morality, the authors highlight the essence and functions of ethical values, synthesize a series of ethical principles, clarify the significance of moral principles, moral rules and moral norms. It is highlighted that human freedom is the ontological foundation of normativity. Values, principles and ethical norms are the axiological referential of ethics management, which aims at developing the ethical culture of the individual, demonstrated daily by ethical behavior. In the context, some theoretical models of decision analysis and ethical behaviors that can respond to what is ethical or unethical are analyzed.
