Abstract
The article is based on the concept: Romanian pedagogic paideuma - the totality of the physical and social factors specific to the Romanian people, which have created a system of traditional pedagogical values that are transmitted from generation to generation through folklore. The article argues the importance of applying traditional cultural values in educating children.
