Abstract
Religion is part of our identity; therefore we cannot exclude the religious education from the school system. Religious education has to put forward the creation of a tolerant educational environment for different religious beliefs of students, parents and teachers. Parents are important partners in the educational environment, through their attitudes and actions they are the first educational models pupils identify and align with. In this article, I have presented the attitude of a group of parents towards religious education and I highlighted their degree of tolerance in educational and social context.
