ONSIDERATIONS CONCERNING THE TRAINING AND PERCEPTION OF ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION BY STUDENTS

Abstract

The environmental quality of the whole world and particularly of our country determines a new education orientation and focus on the formation of culture and attitudes towards environment. The education which is concentrated on the formation of the environmental/environmental protection competences is a priority objective in solving environmental problems that contribute to the formation of the environmental education and the environmental culture of the young generation at the motivational, emotional, value, cognitive and attitudinal / behavioral levels. The aim of the research is to establish students' perceptions regarding the ecological education concept, ecological actions and attitudes towards environmental protection. In this work, the students of lyceum classes from the Academic Lyceum of Fine Arts "Igor Vieru" were involved. They completed a questionnaire asking them about their perceptions about environmental issues which they studied at geography, sciences, biology lessons.
