Abstract
The notion of educational activity is described as an inseparable integrity of substantivepractical and spiritual aspects of its participants in the pedagogical process. The article reflects the process of formation and development of educational activity among children and teenagers in ontogenesis. The work reveals the role of games, learning, communication and labor in the up-bringing process. The author represents the main complications and deformations in this process under the influence of mass culture caused by information and communicative environment.
