Abstract
This article presents a quantitative and qualitative analysis conducted on a specific segment of high school graduates, especially important for the impact it has or can have on the economy of the Republic of Moldova - Olympic students in Informatics. The following aspects were pointed out: where are the centers for Olympic students training, the territorial distribution of the Olympic students and their choices to continue the studies.
