Abstract
The school of the 21st century must reflect the specifics of its time: a changing world, rapid global transformations, accelerating progress, openness to innovation, digitalization, socio-emotional development. In this sense, the skills of the 21st century are designed globally. Therefore, a unitary perspective is needed, which promotes both cognitive development and social and emotional learning. Solving complex issues, stimulating creativity and collaborating with others are the main skills considered imperative in the so-called "fourth industrial revolution", which is characterized by a fusion of the physical, biological, digital and social worlds, in which things are changing more quickly than ever.
