Abstract

The study of the motivation for reading of primary school students is focused in this article on guiding and controlling students’ reading, factors that trigger the activity by which they are determined to read, directs it in order to become a permanent activity, while realizing that reading contributes to the multilateral development of the human individual. Awakening the students’ motivation for reading is also one of the final objectives of the activity carried out by the teacher with the primary school students. Students are stimulated to read for the development of language, communication skills, behavior, general culture.
