Abstract
The 21st century is characterized as a century of knowledge that tends to have the purpose of preparing students for BEING and BECOMING. It is not enough for the student to just KNOW, but he must KNOW to APPLY what he has learned, to think, to solve problem situations in entirely new contexts. We consider, therefore, that the teacher must be a kind of Prometheus, which will ignite the fire of imagination in the student, the interest, to provoke him to think and to activate it at the hour, the instrument that he has at hand being the modern strategies, active-participatory, which causes the student to ask questions and try to answer them.
