Abstract

The article presents the results of the study of the algoflora of "La Izvor"lake, in which 198 species and varieties of algae were highlighted, most of them being benthic forms characteristic of epipelon, epipsamon, epiliton and epiphyton, having an important role in water self-purification process. There was an increase in the number of betamezosaprobe, beta-alfamezosaprobe and alfamezosaprobe algae species, and the saprobity index during the year varied between 1.84-2.12, characterizing the water as moderately polluted.
