Abstract
This article analyzes the specifics of creativity research investigated from the perspective of pedagogical disciplines. The type of research selected for this study is the observational, representing a stage of initiation of experimental research. The identification of the research variables was carried out on the basis of the literature in the field, carefully selected in order to present the phenomenon of creativity and to emphasize the "qualities of creative thinking" of primary school students: fluency, flexibility, originality, elaboration and sensitivity to problems. As a research method, the evaluation test was an essential tool in the research, which provided concrete, measurable and objective data about the level of development of the two research groups, presented in comparative terms at the observation stage of the pedagogical experiment.
