Abstract

The article examines theoretical and practical aspects of teaching the unit “Consumer Profile: Selection and Rational Use of Goods and Services” within the subject Personal Development (4th grade). The instructional approach aims to develop students’ abilities to connect responsible consumption with environmental protection as part of the module “Ensuring Quality of Life.” The paper outlines conceptual benchmarks grounded in educational policies and scientific research, and proposes a project-based lesson framework structured according to the ERRE model, designed to foster competencies related to responsible consumer behavior.
