Abstract
The quality of pedagogical research is determined by methodological rigor, the validity of the results and the scientific substantiation of the formulated conclusions. Statistical analysis is one of the essential tools that contribute to the verification of hypotheses, the reduction of subjectivity, the generalization of results and the substantiation of educational decisions. The paper describes the main criteria for ensuring the quality of research through statistical arguments, highlighting the importance of correctly building databases, comparing means, determining correlations between variables and arguing statistical significances. The stages and conditions necessary for the correct application of statistical methods in pedagogical research are analysed, and recommendations are formulated regarding the consolidation of the culture of evidence-based research.
