Abstract
Abstract. The development of social competences represents an important component of the education and professional preparation of future nurses, as nursing practice involves continuous interaction with patients, their families and healthcare team members. Professional communication requires not only specialised knowledge but also active listening, empathy, cooperation and the ability to manage difficult situations. This article examines the relationship between social competences and professional communication in the education of future nurses and proposes a framework for investigating these competences in relation to situations specific to healthcare practice.
