Abstract
The article presents the results of the pedagogical experiment on the implementation of a pedagogical model for the development of digital competence of the future language teachers. The model and methodology of its implementation harness a number of interactive teaching strategies (PBL, QBL, IBL, PrBL, Hotlist, Multimedia Scrapbook, Treasure Hunt, Web Quest, etc.) and significantly increase students' academic performance.
