THE SEMANTIC FIELD OF THE NOTION OF "VIRTUAL CLASSROOM"

Abstract

Online learning has become an imperative of the time. The traditional classroom moves into the online environment by removing the physical and temporal limits of face-to-face learning. In the literature there are many definitions for the notion of virtual classroom, these are confusing due to the multiple terms used together with the given notion. As the IT field continue to develop, it is necessary to systematize and outline the notions related to the notion of "virtual classroom".
