Abstract
The article presents the results of the analysis of the mathematical competence of first-year technical students with distance learning experience. The purpose of this study is to diagnose the level of knowledge in mathematics, to determine the conformity of the results with the grades set in the certificate for the course of basic general education, as well as the classification of errors made in the performance of work.
