Abstract

The article discusses the issues of knowledge representation in computer assisted instruction courses using causal scenarios - a type of frames. The concept of a stereotypical educational situation is introduced as the main constructive element of a causal scenario. The knowledge presented in causal scenarios can be used to organize learning in a student-computer dialogue mode.
