The spiritual living of popular music in the music education lesson

Abstract

Folk music stands out through songs that belong to the popular creative genius, in which the stylistic personality of the places of origin the ornaments, the musical forms and the other elements that make it up are present. At the level of popular creation, particular features of the sound structures specific to musical folklore can be distinguisthed. A basic acquisition of the music lesson by listening to popular music is the integrity and personification through which the teacher succeeds in developing spiritual traits in the students. Through the supreme experience of popular music in the musical audition lessons, students penetrate the depth of the expressiveness of musical folklore. The lesson will take the form ot an, original, didactic educational approach in which the main characters are the music, the students and the teacher, included as a component of the entire didactic activity. The role of the pedagogue is to develop Romanian spirituality and musical thinking in students through music audition classes.
