Abstract
In the paper, the authors address the issue of training computer science specialists, from the perspective of the interdisciplinarity of abstract algebra and computer science. The application of nonassociative algebraic systems in cryptography is examined. The stages of implementation of quasi-groups in the elaboration of cryptographic algorithms are described. It was demonstrated, from a methodological point of view, the need to study mathematical concepts by computer scientists, in order to understand the operation, use and application of the Markovski cryptographic system
