Abstract

In modern conditions, when the volume of knowledge needed by a person increases suddenly and rapidly, it is no longer enough to be informed only in a narrow field, but there is a need to instill in students an interest in mathematics and the ability to expand their independent knowledge. This is confirmed by the current situation in education. In order to intensify students' interest in mathematics and to increase their cognitive activity, productive methods come to the aid of the teaching staff, including the project method, the methodological description of which is used in middle school and high school is presented in this article.
