Abstract

The functionality of university training can be ensured by capitalizing on the principles and methods of pragmatic learning. The article presents the successful experiences of the "Alecu Russo" State University in Balti in terms of initial training of the professional skills of mathematics teachers, using elements of pragmatic learning. The use of this type of learning allowed the functionality of the acquired knowledge and the minimization of the young teacher's fears regarding the educational reality.
