Abstract

Motivating students to study Mathematics is an important issue in the context of the Republic of Moldova. The article highlights the motivational function of different types of extracurricular activities in mathematics: consultations, circles, clubs, competitions etc. Examples of good practices and recommendations for increasing the motivational aspect of extracurricular activities for students with different levels of mathematical abilities are presented.
