Abstract

The given article presents the results of the experimental research of self-esteem, self-appreciation and aspiration for development at preadolescents in new social realities. The research allows us to conclude that the most of preadolescents are characterized by moderate level of self-esteem, very high level of self-appreciation and aspirations for development. Boys demonstrates higher level of self-esteem, self-appreciation and aspirations for development compared to girls. High level of self-esteem and a very high levels of self-appreciation and aspirations is more frequently at 13 years old preadolescents, while very high level of aspiration for development are equally prominent in 12 years and 13 years old.  For preadolescents from urban environment are particular a more developed self-esteem and a very high level of self-appreciation and aspirations for development. Also, we established important relation between self-esteem and self-appreciation, and self-appreciation and aspirations for development.
