Possibilities of using QR codes in education

Abstract

QR codes are useful for many teaching and learning tasks in the educational environment. Educational institutions and students can easily generate QR codes that link to a wide variety of online content, including maps, charts, graphs, audio or video clips, photos, assessment tests, quizzes, PDF documents, websites and collaborative documents. The possibilities for QR codes to be incorporated into courses in any subject are endless. The article presents some ideas for using QR codes in STEAM education.
