Abstract

Parametric tests are the most used for comparing means in the statistical data analysis in the psychopedagogical field. However, when their use is incompatible with the distribution and type of the researched variables, non-parametric tests are resorted to. The best tools for their realization are offered by the licensed SPSS application, while specialized open-source applications either have limited resources (PSPP) or allow non-parametric tests to be performed in a special way compared to SPSS (JASP, Jamovi, etc.), which can create confusion among researchers. In this context, the paper highlights methodological and technical aspects of performing non-parametric tests within the Jamovi application.
